No longer a ‘slave to Warner Brothers’, the artist again known as Prince returns to Las Vegas, free at last of the emotional shackles he sported last time around. Considered one of modern pop’s most prolific and enduring talents, Prince has released 21 albums of original material since beginning his reign in 1978. Much like Madonna, Prince taps into current popular culture to drive his music, while still maintaining a core sound that readily identifies him. His latest effort, ‘Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic’ has received mixed reviews, but royalty waits for no one.
